Diesel Spring 2010 collections are now unveiled at all Diesel stores. The collections include  Five Pocket Denim which comes in tapered, skinny, boot cut or straight leg cuts and various washes. Another collection is called the Diesel Blue Icons. Here are the 2 washes that shows Diesel’s creative force that are seen from their innovative jeans collection series.

The Thanaz – A slim skinny fit for the guy who likes to wear skinny jeans. It has a lower waist with semi-low crotch. This is an 8B5 wash which went through a lot of treatments like sandpaper, stone and bleach to achieve the old school light color that you see on the jeans. $250

The Viker – A classic straight leg which happens to be the oldest and best seller among the Diesel collections. The jeans is on-trend with its deconstructed patches and rugged weathered flairs. $320

I do believe that everyone looked great at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards last night. With the exception of 3 worst dressed in my opinion, the whole night was a mélange of fabulous and beautiful designer gowns which capped the Awards season stylishly. Here is  my 2010 Oscar’s Best Dressed List.

Jennifer Lopez was my ultimate favorite last night. For the entire award season actually. Her white shimmering Armani Prive Dress with that flap on the bust and side detailing was just divine. I only saw the side-slit when JLO was on stage presenting an award. She did a move with her leg which showed the slit underneath. The dress fit her like a glove. Pardon the expression but I WOULD KILL FOR THAT DRESS.

Dexie did such a fantastic job covering the red carpet arrivals at the 82nd Academy Awards, also known as The Oscars, last night!  While I totally missed the first half (I curse living on the West Coast, sometimes!) of the show I did catch the rest of it and I have to say I really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful gowns!

Below are my picks for Best Dressed at this year’s Oscars…

Actress Amanda Seyfried blew me away in her Armani Prive gown. It suited her perfectly and didn’t wash out her pale complexion. It’s very princess-y yet modern.  I also liked her makeup and hair – simple and classic.  I love her character in HBO’s Big Love and I’m sad this was her last season on the show. I can’t wait to see her in more movies, though!

I was so happy for Sandra Bullock when she won for Best Actress for the movie The Blind Side! She looked quite statuesque in her metallic Marchesa gown. Though I think she could have done something better with her hair, she sported the same style at the Golden Globes, no?

As some of you know, Oscar de la Renta can do no wrong with his gowns so imagine my delight when I spotted actress Cameron Diaz in this amazing dress?!  I love the champagne colour, sparkle-y bits and tulle!  Another plus is Cameron not looking so tanned and overdone.

What Jennifer Lopez wears to any show is usually a hit or miss for me (mostly misses) but last night she looked beautiful in this lovely Armani Prive gown. It’s similar to Amanda Seyfried’s gown but a bit more dramatic. Though, I wish she wore open toed shoes with it.

That’s it!  There were a lot more ladies who looked amazing last night but these are my top 4 – they just stood out from the rest.

Now that the awards have been given at the prestigious 82nd Annual Academy Awards, and the red carpet fashion had been covered (1, 2, 3), it’s time to pick the best and worst dressed list. Let’s start with the 2010 Oscar’s Worst Dressed List first since it’s the most traumatic part of red carpet fashion. Well, it wasn’t that bad actually…

I actually like Vera Farmiga’s Marchesa pleated ruffled tiered gown at first but the more I looked at it the more I got dizzy. There’s just too much going on there that pretty much ate her alive, heh. The ruffled tier detailing looks like a pin wheel toy that goes up and down, up and down, and up and down.
